Mississippi High School Basketball - Itawamba Agricultural holds off Mooreville
December 6, 2024: Mooreville, MS 38857 The Itawamba Agricultural Indians basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Mooreville Troopers to 51 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Shannon for a 4A Region 1 game on Tuesday, December 10. Itawamba Agricultural will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 48-32 non-league loss to Red Bay (Red Bay, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Mooreville drops to 8-2 on the year. The Troopers travel to Bruce (Bruce, MS) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 7. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 0-5. Bruce lost 54-51 in their recent non-league battle against Vardaman (Vardaman, MS)
