Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), 65-62 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Smith Valley advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-1. Pershing County won 63-9 in their recent non-league match against Beatty (Beatty, NV)

The Bighorns now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Excel Christian for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Oasis Academy will face a Warriors squad coming off a 81-29 non-league loss to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
