Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), 59-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pyramid Lake upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lakers host Sparks (Sparks, NV) to face the Railroaders in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Railroaders enter the match with a record of 0-2. Sparks lost 65-28 in their recent non-league match against Carson (Carson City, NV)

The Bighorns now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smith Valley for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Oasis Academy will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 63-27 non-league win over Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
