Nevada High School Basketball - Pyramid Lake knocks off Mineral County

January 4, 2025: Hawthorne, NV 89415

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Pyramid Lake Lakers basketball team scored a good 56-44 win over the Mineral County Serpents.

The Lakers (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Excel Christian (Sparks, NV). The Warriors come into the 1A West contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Excel Christian was topped by Sage Ridge (Reno, NV), 49-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Serpents battle the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) in a 1A West contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Mineral County will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 10-1 record after their 71-23 league win over Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV).
