Texas High School Basketball - Aspermont knocks off Guthrie
December 6, 2024: Guthrie, TX 79236 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Aspermont Hornets basketball team scored a good 42-24 win over the Guthrie Jaguars.
The Hornets (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lueders-Avoca (Avoca, TX). The Raiders come into the 1A Region II District 15 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Lueders-Avoca defeated Moran (Moran, TX), 43-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Crosbyton Chiefs (Crosbyton, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Guthrie will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Chiefs come into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 44-30 non-league win over Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX).
