Washington High School Basketball - Orcas Island thwarts Bush
December 6, 2024: Eastsound, WA 98245 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) and the visiting Bush Blazers (Seattle, WA), observed Orcas Island's basketball team knock off Bush by a score of 44-27.
The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Overlake (Redmond, WA). The Owls come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Overlake was knocked off by University Prep (Seattle, WA), 43-39, in a league game.
With the loss, Bush falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to South Whidbey (Langley, WA) to play the Falcons in a 1A Emerald Sound game on Tuesday, December 10. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 0-3. South Whidbey lost 33-18 in their recent non-league game against Coupeville (Coupeville, WA)
