The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA) and the host Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA), observed Redbank Valley's basketball team knock off Franklin by a score of 58-39.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cranberry Area (Seneca, PA). The Berries come into the Keystone Shortway challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 73-24 non-league win over Riverside (Ellwood City, PA).
