December 6, 2024: Hertford, NC 27944 Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), 63-56 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Camden County advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bruins host Gates County (Gatesville, NC) to meet the Red Barons in a non-league match on Monday, December 9. The Red Barons enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Pirates now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Currituck County for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Perquimans will meet a Knights squad coming off a 54-31 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
