In Friday's non-league contest, the host West Lincoln Rebels basketball team scored a good 38-26 triumph over the Cherryville Ironmen.

The Rebels (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, North Lincoln topped Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 43-36, in a non-league challenge.
