The Western Harnett Eagles basketball squad (Lillington, NC), was crushed 65-27 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC)

With the victory, Harnett Central advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC) to meet the Spartans in a non-league battle on Monday, December 9. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 1-4. Smithfield-Selma won 46-34 in their recent non-league battle against North Johnston (Kenly, NC)

The Eagles now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Forest for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. Western Harnett will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 60-50 non-league win over Westover (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.
