In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Shasta Wolves basketball team scored a close 55-53 triumph over the Foothill Cougars.

The Wolves (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Cardinal Newman nipped McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA), 55-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 10. Foothill will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.
