Texas High School Basketball - Sachse holds off Grand Prairie
December 6, 2025: Sachse, TX 75048 The Sachse Mustangs basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Grand Prairie Gophers to 41 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeview Centennial for a 6A Region II District 9 outing on Tuesday, December 9. Sachse will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 70-51 non-league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 7-4.
The Gophers (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Highland Park (Dallas, TX). The Scots come into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Highland Park was nipped by Longview (Longview, TX), 54-53, in a non-league outing.
