In Saturday's non-league test, the Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX), by a score of 63-32.

Next, the Huskies clash with the Stevens Falcons (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 test, on Tuesday, December 9. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 67-37 non-league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX).

The Cougars (0-10) will now prepare for their bout against LBJ Austin (Austin, TX). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, LBJ Austin was ripped by Reagan (San Antonio, TX), 58-46, in a non-league bout.
