Michigan High School Basketball - Superior Central holds off Mackinaw City
December 6, 2025: Mackinaw City, MI 49701 The Superior Central Cougars basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Mackinaw City Comets to 41 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host North Central for a Central Upper Peninsula game on Monday, December 8. Superior Central will confront a Jets team coming off a 83-46 league loss to Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI). The Jets record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Mackinaw City falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Wolverine (Wolverine, MI) to confront the Wildcats in a Northern Lakes game on Thursday, December 11. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-3.
