In Saturday's non-league test, the San Simon Longhorns (San Simon, AZ) basketball squad defeated the visiting Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM), by a final score of 70-60.

Next, the Longhorns clash with the St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ) in a 1A South test, on Tuesday, December 9. San Simon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 46-28 non-league win over Duncan (Duncan, AZ).

With the loss, Reserve falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 9.
