The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the San Simon Longhorns (San Simon, AZ) and the host Animas Panthers (Animas, NM), observed San Simon's basketball team overwhelm Animas by a score of 72-36.

The Longhorns (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Reserve (Reserve, NM). The Mountaineers enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Panthers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 6. Animas will battle a team coming off a 59-48 non-league loss to Zavalla (Zavalla, TX). The record now stands at 12-56.
