The Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting Animas Panthers to 41 in the Cowboys/Cowgirls league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cowboys/Cowgirls now possess a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reserve for a A District 2 test on Thursday, February 19. Cliff will clash with a Mountaineers squad coming off a 63-28 league loss to Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-17.

The Panthers (1-22) will now prepare for their test against Quemado (Quemado, NM). The Eagles come into the A District 2 test with a 11-14 record. In their last test, Quemado bounced Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM), 1-0, in a non-league test.
