Texas High School Basketball - Wilson sneaks past Smyer
December 6, 2025: Smyer, TX 79367 The Wilson Mustangs basketball team scored 34 points and limited the host Smyer Bobcats to 31 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Springlake-Earth for a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. Wilson will play a Wolverines team coming off a 80-14 non-league loss to Valley (Turkey, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Smyer falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Cotton Center (Cotton Center, TX) to clash with the Elks in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 9. The Elks come into the test with a record of 0-1. Cotton Center lost 71-22 in their recent non-league test against Midessa (Odessa, TX)
