In Saturday's non-league bout, the Alliance Bulldogs (Alliance, NE) basketball team edged the visiting Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE), by a tally of 41-39.

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host North Platte for a non-league bout on Friday, December 12. Alliance will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-34 non-league win over South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Burns (Burns, WY). The Broncs come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
