In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Redwater Dragons basketball squad scored a nice 50-42 victory over the Detroit Eagles.

With the victory, Redwater advances its record to 6-15 on the year. The Dragons travel to Atlanta (Atlanta, TX) to face the Rabbits in a 3A Region II District 14 match on Friday, December 12. The Rabbits enter the match with a record of 3-7. Atlanta lost 62-30 in their recent non-league contest against Bowie (Simms, TX)

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Cumby Trojans (Cumby, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Detroit will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 3-7 record after their 35-20 non-league loss to Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX).
