The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Nucla Mustangs (Nucla, CO) and the host Dove Creek Bulldogs (Dove Creek, CO), observed Nucla's basketball team prevail over Dove Creek by a count of 35-23.

With the victory, Nucla advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Vail Christian (Edwards, CO) to battle the Saints in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 11. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Vail Christian lost 67-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO)

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 12. Dove Creek will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
