Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH), 55-33 in a league match.

With the victory, Monroe advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Hornets host Mt. Healthy (Cincinnati, OH) to face the Fighting Owls in a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 10. The Fighting Owls go into the contest with a record of 3-0.
