Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN), 63-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Cedar Mountain upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars host Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN) to play the Indians in a A Section 2 bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 9. New Ulm Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 78-39 league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, MN).
