Maryland High School Basketball - Edgewood nips Elkton
December 7, 2021: Edgewood, MD 21040 Edgewood Rams (Edgewood, MD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Elkton Golden Elks (Elkton, MD), 72-67 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Edgewood upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD) to play the Mustangs in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake bout on Friday, December 17. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Golden Elks play the North East Indians (North East, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehana bout, on Thursday, December 9. Elkton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 49-41 league loss to North Harford (Pylesville, MD).
