The Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX), 63-61 in Tuesday's league test.

The Jaguars (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood (Midland, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Greenwood got by Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX), 66-43, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, December 11.
