Arkansas High School Basketball - Mineral Springs tipped by Lafayette County
December 7, 2022: Stamps, AR 71860 The Lafayette County Cougars basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Mineral Springs Hornets to 52 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kirby for a 1A Region 7 contest on Friday, December 9. Lafayette County will meet a Trojans team coming off a 59-32 league win over Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 4-2.
The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Harmony Grove (Benton, AR). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Harmony Grove nudged Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR), 60-37, in a non-league contest.
