The Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish basketball team (San Francisco, CA), was nudged 84-83 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting University Red Devils (San Francisco, CA)

The Red Devils now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ignatius for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 10. University will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 70-57 non-league win over Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

The Fightin' Irish (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Sacred Heart Prep was nudged by St. Francis (La Canada, CA), 56-52, in a non-league battle.
