Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) and the host Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA), saw Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory's basketball squad hold off Serra by a tally of 63-59.

With the victory, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory improves its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Fightin' Irish host Valley Christian (San Jose, CA) to confront the Warriors in a West Catholic challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. Valley Christian lost 67-46 in their recent league challenge against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA)

Next, the Padres encounter the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a West Catholic test, on Tuesday, February 7. Serra will attempt to advance on its 11-10 season record. The Lancers go into the test with a 11-9 record after their 47-44 league loss to St. Ignatius (San Francisco, CA).
