Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA), 53-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hollidaysburg upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Golden Tigers host DuBois (DuBois, PA) to clash with the Beavers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Mountain Lions clash with the State College Little Lions (State College, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Altoona will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Little Lions go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA).
