New York High School Basketball - Mexico crushes Carthage

December 7, 2022: Carthage, NY 13619

Mexico Tigers (Mexico, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY), 49-8 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mexico upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Solvay (Solvay, NY) to clash with the Bearcats in a Section 3 Patriot bout on Thursday, December 15. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Comets clash with the East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans (East Syracuse, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Carthage will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
