West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), 67-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Rowan upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Falcons host Carson (China Grove, NC) to play the Cougars in a 3A Conference 48 bout on Friday, December 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Carson won 63-29 in their recent league bout against Concord (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 33 bout, on Friday, December 9. North Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 67-48 non-league win over Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC).
