North Carolina High School Basketball - West Stokes overwhelms Forbush
December 7, 2022: King, NC 27021 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) and the visiting Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), saw West Stokes's basketball squad wallop Forbush by a tally of 54-23.
With the victory, West Stokes improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to confront the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. McMichael lost 53-26 in their recent non-league challenge against North Stokes (Danbury, NC)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Forbush will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 51-50 non-league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC).
