Texas High School Basketball - Abernathy nips Sudan
December 7, 2023: Sudan, TX 79371 Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sudan Hornets (Sudan, TX), 63-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Abernathy upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Antelopes travel to Eunice (Eunice, NM) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Eunice won 64-46 in their recent non-league bout against Morton (Morton, TX)
Next up, the Hornets play the O'Donnell Eagles (O'Donnell, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Sudan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
