In Thursday's non-league outing, the Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Brookeland Wildcats (Brookeland, TX), by a margin of 71-56.

The Falcons (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX). The Timberwolves go into the non-league outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Pineywoods Community Academy was beaten by Liberty (Liberty, TX), 45-43, in a non-league outing.
