December 7, 2023: Hatch, NM 87937 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM) and the visiting Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM), saw Hatch Valley's basketball squad knock off Reserve by a count of 51-34.
With the victory, Hatch Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Animas (Animas, NM) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Animas lost 67-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Cliff (Cliff, NM)
Next up, the Mountaineers play the Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cliff, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Reserve will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cowboys/Cowgirls come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 67-36 non-league win over Animas (Animas, NM).
