Minnesota High School Basketball - Washburn crushes Kennedy
December 7, 2023: Bloomington, MN 55420 Washburn Millers (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), 65-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Washburn upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Millers host Eagan (Eagan, MN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Eagan won 69-61 in their recent non-league bout against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN)
Next up, the Eagles play the Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) in a AAA Section 6 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Stars go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 71-63 league loss to Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN).
