Minnesota High School Basketball - Mound-Westonka knocked off by Washburn
December 11, 2023: Mound, MN 55364 The Washburn Millers basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Mound-Westonka White Hawks to 65 in the Millers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Millers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tartan for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Washburn will battle a Titans team coming off a 60-49 non-league win over Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN). The Titans record now stands at 2-0.
The White Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN). The Lakers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Minneapolis Southwest was defeated by Eagan (Eagan, MN), 75-52, in a non-league contest.
