Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the New Garden Friends Bears (Greensboro, NC) and the host Lee Christian Falcons (Sanford, NC), saw New Garden Friends's basketball squad wallop Lee Christian by a count of 71-36.

With the victory, New Garden Friends upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Carolina Friends (Durham, NC) to play the Quakers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Quakers come into the challenge with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Falcons play the Bradford Academy Archers (Mebane, NC) in a NCISAA Mid-Carolina challenge, on Friday, December 8. Lee Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
