Tennessee High School Basketball - Memphis University fells Memphis East
December 7, 2023: Memphis, TN 38111 Memphis University Owls (Memphis, TN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN), 50-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Memphis University upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Owls travel to Kirkwood (Clarksville, TN) to play the Cobras in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Cobras go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Whitehaven Tigers (Memphis, TN) in a 4A District 16 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Memphis East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
