Kentucky High School Basketball - Estill County nudges Berea
December 7, 2023: Berea, KY 40403 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) basketball squad edged the host Berea Pirates (Berea, KY), by a margin of 37-35.
The Engineers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Owsley County (Booneville, KY). The Owls / Lady Owls go into the District 56 outing with a 1-1 record.
The Pirates now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Berea will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 62-26 non-league loss to Presentation (Louisville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
