Kentucky High School Basketball - Estill County overwhelmed by Madison Southern
January 27, 2024: Irvine, KY 40336 The Madison Southern Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Estill County Engineers to 15 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyle County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Madison Southern will battle a Rebels team coming off a 59-45 non-league win over Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 16-6.
The Engineers (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wolfe County (Campton, KY). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Wolfe County triumphed over Jackson City (Jackson, KY), 46-29, in a league contest.
