Texas High School Basketball - Perrin-Whitt tops Community Christian
December 7, 2023: Mineral Wells, TX 76067 Perrin-Whitt Pirates (Perrin, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Community Christian Warriors (Mineral Wells, TX), 40-21 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Perrin-Whitt upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Avalon (Avalon, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Avalon won 41-31 in their recent league bout against Coolidge (Coolidge, TX)
Next up, the Warriors play the Penelope Wolverines (Penelope, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Community Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 44-25 non-league loss to Dawson (Dawson, TX).
