December 7, 2023: Laurel, DE 19956 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE) and the host Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE), saw Delmar's basketball squad wallop Laurel by a tally of 51-12.
With the victory, Delmar improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to confront the Spartans in a Henlopen - Southern challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Lake Forest won 55-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Dickinson (Wilmington, DE)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen - Southern challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Laurel will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE).
