Kentucky High School Basketball - Letcher County Central nudges Harlan
December 7, 2023: Whitesburg, KY 41858 Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars (Whitesburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), 74-67 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Letcher County Central upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars / Lady Cougars travel to Boyd County (Ashland, KY) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Boyd County won 68-58 in their recent non-league bout against George Washington (Charleston, WV)
Next up, the Green Dragons clash with the Williamsburg Yellowjackets (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Harlan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
