December 7, 2023: Staunton, IL 62088 The Staunton Bulldogs (Staunton, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Pana Panthers (Pana, IL), 67-19 in Thursday's league test.
The Bulldogs (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Vandalia (Vandalia, IL). The Vandals go into the South Central test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Vandalia walloped Litchfield (Litchfield, IL), 61-45, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a South Central test on Monday, December 11. Pana will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 46-42 league win over North Mac (Virden, IL). The Comets record now stands at 4-4.
