In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Deposit-Hancock basketball team scored a close 69-63 triumph over the Morris Central Mustangs.

The (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Susquehanna (Susquehanna, PA). The Sabers go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Sharon Springs Central Spartans (Sharon Springs, NY) in a Section 4 Tri-Valley contest, on Wednesday, December 11.
