In Saturday's non-league test, the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) basketball squad got by the host Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX), by a score of 51-45.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 10. Ferris will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Black Cats come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 46-43 non-league loss to Connally (Waco, TX).
