Texas High School Basketball - Lone Oak holds off Ford
December 7, 2024: Quinlan, TX 75474 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Lone Oak Buffaloes basketball team scored a close 41-34 triumph over the Ford Panthers.
The Buffaloes (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Edgewood (Edgewood, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Edgewood nipped Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX), 61-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats (Scurry, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Ford will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 55-41 non-league win over Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX).
