The Johnson Jaguars basketball squad (San Antonio, TX), was nudged 36-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX)

With the victory, Fort Bend Hightower advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Hurricanes host Alief Taylor (Houston, TX) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 2-8. Alief Taylor lost 64-39 in their recent non-league battle against Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX)

The Jaguars now own a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antonian Prep for a non-league battle on Friday, December 13. Johnson will meet a Apaches squad coming off a 70-64 non-league win over East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Apaches record now stands at 20-3.
