The Royal Falcons basketball squad (Brookshire, TX), was nudged 56-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX)

With the victory, Lamar Consolidated advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Wharton (Wharton, TX) to meet the Tigers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 11. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 13-3. Wharton lost 62-50 in their recent non-league battle against O'Connell (Galveston, TX)

The Falcons now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rudder for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. Royal will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 43-41 non-league win over Trinity Leadership (Cedar Hill, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 6-4.
